Dan Cowper
Offroad Racing Legend
Dan won his first New Zealand overall title in 1998 in a truck he made out of Suzuki and Austin car parts along with Honda and Kawasaki motorbike parts.
Two years later Dan had built a truck which he called the "Crazy Frog". He took out the National Title for the following two seasons which created a lot of interest in this vehicle.
Chris Western
Offroad Racing Legend
Chris grew up on a vineyard at Waikerie in the South Australia riverland, working with his Dad (Rhyce). The family has always been extensively involved in the off road racing scene and Chris thought he could start a business taking people for rides in his buggy.
In 2000, after competing in the Finke Desert Race, Chris towed the buggy back to Port Douglas and Off Road Rush was born. Chris and Off Road Rush now operate from several other locations around Australia. Chris recently went to Mexico to compete in the Baja 1000 where after 10 fuel stops, five navigator swaps, one mechanical stop, one cat nap stop and just over 32 hours of racing Chris and the Off Road Rush Mickey Thompson Race Team made it to La Paz and the checkered flag, completing a lifelong dream.
